Mikaku, the Japanese word for ‘sense of taste.’

This space is a collection of recipes that I have created or have been working on refining over the years; I am inspired by my Taiwanese mother’s cooking and from the cultural and culinary adventures experienced while traveling. Mikaku is a part of my journey in exploring and perfecting the subtleties of different flavors and textures in the food I make, and I hope that we can grow and inspire each each other in our creations and adventures in the  kitchen.
